Sunshine State, Florida state outline, Florida art, Florida shape, metal art sculpture, wall art
The area we know as the state of Florida was discovered in 1513 by Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de León, who called it la Florida ("the land of flowers"). It gained statehood in the United States in 1845. Florida has the longest coastline in the contiguous United States and is home to many types of wildlife.
This 34" wide by 31" Sunshine State metal art sculpture has burnished sun rays shining from the center over the etched county lines. It is plasma cut from high quality 5052 marine grade aluminum which can be displayed indoors or outdoors without becoming rusty (extra fasteners are recommended for displaying art outdoors). The detail in this piece was achieved by a combination of cutting, etching, blasting and burnishing resulting in a beautiful hand finished work of art. Hangers are attached to the back making it easier to display.
This is a great piece for Florida residents or people who just love the Sunshine State and will look amazing displayed on any wall.
